This show deals with the crossovers between reality and fantasy. To set this tone, I designed the shutters on the back wall to be angled toward center stage to give a claustrophobic feel for the space. Another design element that portrayed this theme was the deconstruction of the walls. I choose to make the walls look old and crumbling apart with paint treatments to give a feel of "falling-apart" while still looking realistic.
